John Unsworth - PartnerJohn Unsworth - LLB - Partner

John graduated from Canterbury University in 1984 and joined Horsley Christie later that year. A partner since 1991, John heads the litigation team. He specialises in the following areas:

  • Civil and Commercial Disputes
  • Employment Law
  • Family and Relationship Property
  • Health Law
  • Insurance Law
  • Maori Land law

John is pragmatic and keen to achieve practical solutions. When he's is not in the office he enjoys playing golf and soccer.

Whilst he was exploring the world he has undertaken many captivating adventures such as white-water rafting with crocodiles in Zimbabwe, camel riding in Egypt, and elephant riding in Thailand.

John is a bit of dare devil and up for any challenge.
